Michael Lang is an accomplished energy management and business development consultant with over twenty-five years of experience at Provident Energy Consulting. Michael plays a pivotal role in energy project development and management, where he oversees all phases of the energy project development cycle, from data preparation and cost analysis to the validation of performance guarantees.
Through his expertise in energy procurement Mike has been involved in over 70 public education projects. He specializes in advising clients toward the best implementation solution to meet their needs. Mike is passionate about what he does and focuses on all aspects of the project life cycle, ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish for each client. With a proven track record of success, Mike ensures each project is accurately planned, implemented, and closed-out properly for the client’s benefit.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental/Geological Sciences from Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) through the Association of Energy Engineers. He is an active member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO), as well as the Greater Philadelphia Association of Energy Engineers (GPAEE).
